Dear Parents:

Welcome to first grade!

We are going to have a great year here at Bolin Elementary. I am looking forward to helping your child with all his/her learning needs. I know with your help this will be a successful year! I can not wait to get to know each and every child.

My name is Sarah Gosdin. This is my fifth year here at Bolin Elementary. I cannot believe how time flies! I love teaching first grade, and I know your child will love being in first grade too! I grew up in Allen. I attended Vaughan Elementary, Ford Middle School, and Allen High School. I love it here and it is good to be teaching back at home! I graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. Currently, I am back in school at Texas Womans University to get my master’s degree in school counseling. So not only will I be a teacher at Bolin, I will also being doing my counseling internship here at Bolin this year! It's going to be a busy year but I am very happy to be here and sharing this new experience with you and your child.

I am proud to say that last March I became Mrs. Gosdin! Some of your kids might remember me as Miss. Martin.  My husband, Matt, and I have been together for five years and we are enjoying being newlyweds. We currently live in The Colony with our two dogs, Sadie and Maxwell. I love spending time with my family, friends, and our two puppies! When I have time, I love to cook big meals for my family and friends. On the weekends you can find me going to the movies, traveling, shopping, or just relaxing on my couches! I also LOVE to read, which I hope to instill in all my students.
