It is an honor to have
you serve as a substitute teacher in Allen ISD. Our
mission plan is to address the individual learning needs
of each student who enters our schools. You are
encouraged to recognize the important role you play in
this plan and seek to make "every kid a winner."
Allen ISD, the Board of Trustees and professional staff
consider substitute teaching an important phase of our
total school program. Substitute teachers are welcomed
as members of our professional family and will be
treated with consideration, courtesy, and respect by all
school personnel, parents and pupils.
Substitute teachers must apply on line. The
application is complete when references, transcripts and
applicant questionnaire are received in the AISD Human Resources Office. Finally, attending a substitute orientation training is
required before your name will appear on the Approved
Substitutes List.

Substitute Teacher
Substitute teachers with more than 90 or greater college
hours will be paid $75.00 per day. Substitute teachers on a
long-term assignment (15 or more consecutive school days
