Elementary
Each elementary campus has a science fair with a grand prize winner from each category — Grades 1-3, Grades 4-5, and Grade 6. Each campus will send three science fair participants to the North Dallas Regional Elementary Science Fair.

SCHEDULE
Wednesday, February 27, 2008
4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

  • Check-in and setup project in the Arena of the Special Events Center. Please stay with project until officials check the project and mark it as in compliance with all Regional Fair rules (safety, participation, and display).
  • Enjoy the science demonstrations and entertainment provided in the exhibit hall for students and parents.


EXHIBIT AREA CLOSES AT 7:00 PM ON WEDNESDAY

Thursday, February 28, 2008
5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

  • Exhibit Hall open to the public. All projects displaying a finalist ribbon will receive an award during the Awards Ceremony.
6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. & 7:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Projects may be removed from the hall during these two times as not to disrupt the Awards Ceremony scheduled for 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. All students, parents, and guests are invited to attend the ceremony.
6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
  • Awards will be presented to the students with winning projects. Please join us in celebrating the accomplishments of all students.
7:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Projects may not be left at the Special Events Center after 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2008. Projects not picked up by closing at 8:00 p.m. will be discarded.
