Foundation's BEE For Education 2008
The Foundation
For Allen Schools and the Allen/Lovejoy Council of PTAs
hosted the seventh annual “BEE for Education” on
Tuesday, April 1. Vaughan Elementary took home the
championship BEE trophy. BEE for Education is a
community spelling bee supporting student and teacher
scholarships in Allen ISD.

Middle School
Eighth grade math students at
Ereckson Middle School prepared for 9th grade Algebra
with a lesson about the Y and X axis. The event was
called "Walk The Line".

2nd Annual Old Timer's Reunion
Long-time
Allen residents arrived in record numbers to attend the
second annual Allen Old Timer’s Reunion at the Lowery
Freshman Center. Over 300 old timers and their families
attended the party. The reunion was open to current and
former Allen residents and their families who lived in
Allen prior to 1980.
