    Welcome to 4th grade at Vaughan Elementary! I am Paula Hansen, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. This is my 17th year as an educator, working in 4th and 5th grades. I have a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, with a Science emphasis, and enjoy creating engaging instruction for students. I particularly enjoy teaching Science and Social Studies, and thrilled to be teaching these content areas at Vaughan. I also have a music background, often playing for weddings and other events, and enjoy embedding music when creating student learning opportunities.
     
    My husband and I were born in Dallas, and have three wonderful grown sons, along with three precious grandchildren, and a dog named Jack. We love spending time with family, hiking national parks, cruising, and working outside in the garden.
