The Foundation For Allen Schools announced that it will fund 127 educational grants for the 2023-2024 school year in Allen ISD. These grants total $196,730 and bring the Foundation’s funding of grants to $1.9 million dollars to date.
The Foundation’s Educational Grant Program provides resources for innovative, creative classroom and campus programs and projects. “Thousands of students and more than 300 teachers and staff will be involved in Foundation grants,” said Regina Taylor, Foundation Director. “These grants will impact classrooms from Pre-K to 12th grade, every curriculum area, and every Allen campus.” Teachers and staff submitted nearly 200 applications; 66% were awarded funding.
Individuals and businesses can support the grant program through their donations and may even qualify to have a grant named in their honor. For complete details, contact regina.taylor@allenisd.org or 972-727-0362.
