    I am so excited to start a new chapter this year in 6th grade and as a Marion Maverick!  This will be my eighth year in Allen ISD, and the start of my 16th year of teaching.  I previously taught in Richardson ISD and at Reed Elementary in Allen, teaching 4th grade ELA.  This is my sixth year teaching 6th grade ELA at Marion.  I truly believe that Marion is the best place to be.  Between having a new amazing building, a fabulous staff and wonderful students, this year is going to be a great one!    
     
    I grew up in Franklin, TX, a small town outside of College Station and graduated from Texas A&M University.  My family and I live in Allen and are overjoyed to be in such a wonderful district.  I have two small kiddos, Brayden who is 9 and Elise who is 8, a wonderful husband named Sean, two energetic doggies named Mollie and Rosco, and a bunny named Simon.  When we're all together, there's never a dull moment!  When I'm not teaching, I love traveling, cooking, shopping,  gardening, reading any and everything I can get my hands on, and most importantly, spending time with my family.  This year is going to be a fantastic year in 6th and I am so excited to begin the journey!
