Who is Officer Ramirez?
I am a proud member of the Allen Police Department School Resource Officer (SRO) Unit that is dedicated to providing a safe and secure environment for learning utilizing the Triad Concept. The Triad Concept divides the SRO’s responsibilities into three areas: Educator, Informal Counselor, and Law Enforcement Officer. I will draw on my 14 years of law enforcement experience and 10 years of military experience to be a positive resource for the faculty, students, and parents of our community.
As a Police Officer, it is my duty to preserve the peace and enforce the laws. I can only enforce and protect what I see, hear, or know. REPORT, REPORT, REPORT! Don't ever be afraid to report anything to me, a counselor, or an administration that you believe to be unsafe or a cause for concern. You're not a “snitch”. A snitch is someone that is more interested in getting someone in trouble. You are a “concerned party” who is more concerned about doing the right thing or helping a friend in need.
