Just a little bit about me...I am in my 24th year as an educator and I have held several different roles. I started off my teaching career as a K-6th vocal music teacher! My classroom experience has been primarily in kindergarten through 4th grade and I have loved every minute.  For the past 15 years, I have been an English Language Arts Instructional Coach at both Rountree and Boyd as well as an English Language Arts Instructional Specialist for Allen ISD. One of the best things in the world is working with elementary teachers and students and growing readers and writers! 

A little about myself...

This picture was taken on our 30th anniversary trip out west to Nevada, Arizona, and Utah this past summer. We had the best time hiking the national parks and were in awe of nature's beauty! It was so relaxing! I also went on a road trip to Hilton Head South Carolina with my daughter. We visited several historical sites on the way and were finally able to visit some family.

Our family is small but mighty! We have a son Brady, daughter Shannon, two horses, and two dogs.
