Even the hardest problem has a solution.
I am so excited to begin my 14th year at Story! After enjoying most of my time with third graders, I am ready for my third year as the 5th grade math teacher.
I have lived in the Dallas-Fort Worth area the majority of my life, even though I cannot claim to be a native Texan. I have a business degree and worked in corporate America for several years. After being a stay at home mom I returned to college and earned a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of North Texas.
My husband and I have two awesome children. We are now empty nesters and love when our kiddos come home to visit. Both of them are engineering graduates from Texas A&M, so my husband and I quickly became huge Aggie fans by tuition. During the fall we cheer for the Texas A&M football team. Our family enjoys traveling, especially to the beach. We also like to cook and watch good movies.
Math is my favorite subject, and I love to see students grow and learn to be amazing mathmaticians.
