I am excited to be teaching Pre-K at Cheatham Elementary this year. 2022-2023 marks my 23rd year in education and 12th year teaching Pre-Kindergarten. I also have experience teaching 3rd grade, 4th grade, and as an instructional coach in Kindergarten through 6th grade. I earned my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Stephen F. Austin State University and my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University-Commerce.
I have been married to my husband, Matt, for 23 years and am mom to twins, Maggie and Andrew. They are students at Allen High School.
Outside of work, I enjoy biking, traveling, and spending time with my family. My goal as a teacher is to help my students develop a passion for learning. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I am available 3:00-3:45 pm Monday-Friday for conferences.
