Arrival and Dismissal ProceduresArrival Procedures:In the morning, there are three loops to drop your children at Boon Elementary: South, Front, and North.
-
South Loop is for Kindergarten through 2nd Grade and older siblings.
-
North Loop is for 3rd through 6th Grades.
-
The primary users of the Front Loop are the Allen ISD buses, Boon staff, daycares, and special needs parents. The Front Loop may be used by any parent as an alternate to the other two loops when those loops become congested in the morning.
Do not drop your children off in any parking lot; drop offs must be done at curbside only. Please note that Front Loop will be unavailable during the afternoon pick up.After 7:50 AM, all children should use the Front Loop; the front doors will be unlocked. The rest of the doors automatically lock at 7:50 AM. Please pull all the way forward to the far end of the DROP OFF ZONES before letting your children get out of the vehicle. By doing this, you will help other parents get through the line quicker. When visiting the school, please park in one of the three lots. The parallel parking spaces next to the building must remain empty to facilitate drop off and pick up activities. Thank you for your cooperation.
