Green Elementary

WGRN
Sixth-grade students are our TV crew for morning announcements on WGRN. Students are selected based on a "try-out" process and are graded on voice tone, inflection, and expression. The students also are graded based on academic good standing and behavior.

The students enjoy being on our live broadcast of our morning announcements.


PEER MEDIATION
Peer Mediation is kids helping kids solve problems. This group of very talented children was selected through an interview process. Some criteria needed to be a mediator are good listening skills, strong leadership abilities, and responsible actions and attitudes. The children selected were trained for a day and a half. They were taught to work with students and help them to solve their own problems. The process is amazing and the children have done a great job to help solve conflicts at Green Elementary.
