Wow, epic fail on my part for not keeping this page updated this year.  It has been a whirl wind year.  Last semester we worked on a lot of stuff, but some of our main topics were counting money amounts with emphasis on groups of coins that equal more than $1.00.  We also covered a lot of measurement concepts including perimeter.  I plan to hit area this semester.  We are currently creating graphs in our classroom.  If you find any graphs at home in the newspaper or in a magazine, share it with your student.  If you can send it in and I will share it with all of my classes.  As always keep working with money and time at home and point out any math in your daily life to your student.  Thanks for being awesome!
