    My name is Demetrial Wright and I am delighted  to be your school counselor this year! I graduated from Garland High School (Home of the Fighting OWLS) and completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington. I have a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Master of Science in Child Development. I taught several years in special education before becoming a school counselor. I received my School Counselor Certification through Region 10. I truly believe in encouraging and inspiring the SELF.
