Bona fide Club (must provide Articles of Organization and Bylaws)
-Has officers with positions and duties
-Has meetings and records minutes at least once a month.
    -Has membership requirements and responsibilities
-May collect dues, have fundraisers, handle money through a school account
-May have disciplinary actions (grounds for dismissal from the club)
-An accurate roster of members must be maintained at all times
-Must participate in at least one campus-wide event
-At least one representative from the club must join and attend student council meetings

Social Club (must provide Articles of Organization and Bylaws)
-Its main purpose is to provide a set meeting place and time for social interaction with other students with similar interests/hobbies
    -No officers
-Monthly meetings and recorded minutes not required
    -Open membership
-Not allowed to handle monies, collect dues, or have fundraisers
-An accurate roster of participants must be maintained at all times
-At least one representative from the club must join and attend student council meetings

    2. Students interested in creating a club/organization must find an Allen High School or Lowery Freshman Center Employee to be the Moderator/Advisor/Coach/Sponsor (MACS).

The MACS, not the student, must then fill out this form.

    3. Both “Social Clubs” and “Bona fide Clubs”, the MACS and students must complete Articles of Organization and Bylaws.
