Mobile Field Investigations from the Heard Museum will visit Bolin Elementary to teach students about life cycles, food webs and animal adaptations through live animals and hands-on activities.

Students will learn more about an animal's appearance, adaptations, and anatomy while comparing and contrasting different animals by looking at their skins and coverings.

Botany, Bees, and Rotting Bannanas, Oh My!
Students will be able to experience habitats, insects, and plants at the Dallas Arboretum.

Building K'NEXtions in Science
Students will be provided with K'Nex Construction Sets, which will offer them multiple opportunities to build, investigate, problem solve, discuss, and record observations during the "Force and Motion" unit.

Building the Olson Collaborative Community
Students will form working groups outside of Olson's original organizations and clubs that will begin the process of researching and planning creative solutions or innovative ideas that will bring awareness to some of our community's needs.
