GATE News & Information For Parents

This year's annual GATE Academy parent informational meeting will be in an online format.  The window to apply for a 2020-2021 GATE Academy seat is open from April 1-12, 2020.  To view the presentation and submit an application for a 2020-2021 seat at the GATE Academy, please scroll down to the links below.

Please note, the GATE Academy lottery is open to Allen ISD students currently in grades K-5 who are already identified gifted and have attended AIM this year.  Students who are in the process of testing for potential gifted identification this spring are not eligible for this year's GATE Academy lottery.  This is the same as previous years and is not due to current school closures or at-home learning.  SHould your student be identified through this year's testing and begin AIM in the 2020-2021 school year, s/he will be eligible for next year's GATE Academy lottery.
