Hello & thank you for visiting my webpage!  I am so excited to be teaching your child in first grade this year at Evans Elementary! This is my 15th year teaching at Evans, and I love all of my students like they are my own children. 

 

I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, have a degree from ISU.  My late husband and I relocated to Allen and have two adult children. My son graduated from the University of Texas and my daughter is a senior at the University of Arkansas. Enjoy this precious time with your little ones...it really does fly!  In my free time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, biking, swimming, and walking our boarder collie, Snickers.  I recently married my husband, Charles, and my new last name is pronounced "roar" (like a lion) + -"ig" (rhymes with big).
