Welcome to the Lone Star Studio!

I am thrilled to begin my 24th year in public education. This will be my eighth year at Lindsey. I taught for six years in CFBISD and eight years in Frisco ISD.  I have always been fond of creating art and learning more about the history of art.   My favorite art medium is watercolor.  I was born and raised in Dallas, where I graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School- GO PATRIOTS and went on to graduate from the University of North Texas, with a degree in Fine Arts. In my spare time, I am also a certified health coach and love helping people. My husband, Mitch and I have three beautiful daughters, Adelaide and Aurelia, our ten year old twins, who are in fifth grade and Alexandra, who is in the tenth grade. We also have a Labrador, Molly. I spend a lot of time in Arlington, watching Texas Rangers baseball. We are proud season ticket holders and love MLB! I also love visiting art museums whenever I travel. I love being at Lindsey and working with the best students and a wonderful specials team!
