Welcome to my page! I am happy to say that I have had the privilege of working in Allen ISD since 2002. I have a true passion for kids and learning, and I am thrilled to share that passion with our Reed & Marion students, staff, and families.

     I moved around a lot when I was young, but in fourth grade, my family settled in Houston. I went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Austin, earning a BS in Applied Learning and Development, with an English minor and a reading specialization. Since then, I have taught ESL, 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades, and I also spent several years as the director of a Sylvan Learning Center. I have also served as a Campus Intervention Specialist. My current role is to support the Reed and Marion campuses as an Instructional Coach.

     When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jonathan; our daughter, Rachel; and our sweet dogs Cosmo and Scout. I also enjoy reading, boating, movies, and travel.
