     Welcome! My name is Olivia Pearson and I am so excited to be teaching First Grade at Boyd! 

     Just like a lot of people in Texas, I’m not from around here. I grew up in Leeds, England and moved across the pond to Denver, CO when I was in high school.

    I graduated from Colorado State University and moved to Mckinney with my now husband, Todd. We were married in 2016 here in Texas.

    Our daughter Reagan was born in 2019 and is the ruler of the house! She has a huge personality and is definitely the boss of her two fur-brother kitties named Miffy and Mushu. Her little brother, Benjamin, was born in the summer of 2022, and is luckily MUCH calmer than his big sister! I take LOTS of pictures of them all and I am always willing to share!

    My favorite colors are teal or turquoise and I have a very strong obsession over ANYTHING that glitters and sparkles! I am a lover of Starbucks, Whataburger, and anything that involves Target.

    When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time trying out new restaurants and discovering new places. I also am a big fan of shopping and finding great deals!

    I am beyond thankful to have the opportunity to teach at Boyd and love every moment I spend here. Boyd is an incredibly special place to be, and I cannot wait to see what this school year brings. 

    I can't wait to get to know all of my students and their families!
