    About Me:
         My name is Kimberly Richardson and this is my 20th year in education. My husband and I have been married for 23 years. We have an amazing red headed 16 year old named Hannah and she is a 11th grader at Allen High School.
          I have my undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas as well as a Masters in Education from Texas A&M Commerce. My specialization is Literacy.  I believe it is important to model for my students a lifelong love for learning!  To continue modeling my desire to learn, I completed another Masters degree at UNT.  This time, a M.S. in Information Sciences.  My focus was in Library Sciences and I received a School Librarian Certification, as well as a Youth Librarianship Certificate.

     I am looking forward to an amazing year getting to share the joy of reading!

    Special Accomplishments: Rountree Teacher of the Year 2007-2008, AISD Bright Idea Award recipient for Summer Splash Reading Club 2009-2010, M.Ed. in Reading, Charter Staff at Lois Lindsey Elementary 2013-2014, Mentor Teacher 2006-present, School Librarian Certificate 2017, Story Teacher of the Year 2017-2018, AISD Bright Idea award recipient for Future Falcon Storytime 2018-2019, and AISD Bell Ringer award recipient 2018-2019.  I am also a Level 1 Google Educator and a Seesaw Ambassador!

    My Family: Husband of 23 years, Chris. 16 yr old daughter, Hannah, and a crazy cat, Oliver.
    I am the middle child. I have an older sister, Tracey, and a younger brother, Greg, aka. Rockettman.
