Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year!! Kindergarten is such an important and exciting milestone in your child's life, and I am truly SO honored to be a part of it!

This year is going to be filled with new beginnings, new friends, LOTS of new and fun learning, and tons of awesome memories!!

Now...a little bit about myself. I grew up in a very small West Texas town called Coahoma. If you were to blink while driving through, you might just pass it up :)  I moved to Allen the summer of 2017 from Round Rock where I had been living and teaching for eight years. I am a proud graduate of Texas A&M University...Gig'Em Aggies!! This will be my eleventh year in the wonderful field of education. I have taught a combination of Kindergarten and First Grade throughout that time and have loved both. I look forward to teaching Kindergarten again this year and to the new adventures this year will bring! I feel so incredibly blessed to be a part of such an amazing and supportive staff here at Lindsey. I love being a Lone Star! In my free time I enjoy watching movies, hanging out with my family, shopping, and trying new restaurants!

I want you to know that I am TRULY thrilled to be your child’s teacher this year! I wanted to be a teacher all my life, and honestly could not be happier than in a classroom filled with eager young minds. They amaze me daily and I am excited to see your little one grow physically, socially, and academically throughout this year!!!

I feel an open line of communication is vital for the success of your child, so please remember that I am just an email or phone call away if you have any questions or concerns. My email address is kristi.hutchison@allenisd.org or to leave a voicemail, call (469) 319-6934.

Thank you for your support and I look forward to working with you and your child this year!
