ARACELI OLIVA, M.S., CCC-SLP
Hello, my name is Araceli Oliva and I am the Speech Language Pathologist at Lowery Freshman Center. I also service students at Allen High School. For the last 10 years I have been servicing students from PreK through 6th grade at Rountree Elementary. I started my career in 2006 with Dallas ISD where I serviced students from PreK through 12th grade. I consider myself a native Texan although I was born in Washington D.C. (I'm one of those who wasn't born in Texas but got here as fast as I could). I grew up in the Dallas area and attended private Catholic school most of my life. I received my Bachelor of Science in 2005 from the University of Texas at Dallas with a major in Speech Language Pathology. I received my Master of Science from Texas Woman's University in 2008. I am licensed in the state of Texas and have obtained my Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
My family life: I am married and am a proud mother of four awesome children: Cristian (24 years old, graduated from college, lives and works in New York City), Jacob (22 years old, senior at the University of Texas in Austin), Priscilla (19 years old, sophmore attending Collin College) and Matthew (4th grader in Melissa ISD). I feel very blessed to be working here and look forward to this school year.
If you have a student who receives speech services and have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact me. I will respond to your email questions or phone calls as soon as I can.
