Speech-Language Pathologist

 Hi! My name is Bonnie Ruiz. I am one of the Speech-Language Pathologists here at Chandler Elementary. This is my seventh year being a Chandler Cheetah!

My husband and I have been married for 15 years and together we have two daughters, Mila (11) and Leila (7).

Before joining Allen ISD, I worked with adults with Parkinson's Disease, ALS, progressive neurological disorders, and dysphagia. I have Bachelor's degrees in English Literature, Psychology and Communication Disorders from California State University, Los Angeles. I received my Master's degree in Communication Disorders from New Mexico State University. Go Aggies!

When I'm not working, I like spending time with my family, working out, coaching basketball, spending time outdoors, and watching my daughters play sports. 

This is going to be an amazing year! I look forward to working with all of your kiddos!
