    Whether you are a 1st year educator or new to Allen ISD, it is our goal in HR to support a healthy home and work balance. In doing so, we have replaced our on-sight HR Workshop sessions with "how to" and compliance links located on the Human Resources website under the New Employee tab. This will allow you to complete your required tasks at your leisure and enjoy more time with your family and friends.

    Login ID: Select from one of three options: Skyward ID, Employee ID# or SSN (no dashes)

    PIN: last four digits of your social and the last two digits of the year you were born

    As a new hire, you have 30 days from your actively-at-work date (the date you start work) to enroll or decline coverage.

    You must login to review all offerings even if you do not want benefits.

  • Enrollment with assistance is available by appointment with a Benefits staff member.

  • How to Access the Substitute System

    The Sub system is used IF you have students and require a substitute.  All others will use employee access to report an absence.

    Sub system users will receive an email with instructions on how to log into your account.

    • Your user ID and password will be included in the email.

    • For further instructions on how to navigate the substitute system please watch the videos by clicking on the help tab.   

    Each campus has an in-house Substitute Coordinator who can help you navigate your account.  

    The Sub system will call out to find a substitute one day prior to the absence and the morning of the absence.

    Substitutes can see an absence online for 120 days in advance of the absence.  


    How to access the substitute system after you receive your welcome letter:

    Go to: www.allenisd.org/Faculty/Staff Absence Management System/Click on the Absence Management System Link

    • For ID or Username use your Personal phone number
    • Your PIN or Password will be assigned in your welcome letter

    Trouble logging in?

    • Click on: I forgot my ID or username / I forgot my PIN or password, or
    • Contact your campus coordinator for your ID and PIN.

    To call the absence management system, dial 1-800-942-3767. You’ll be prompted to enter your ID number (followed by the # sign), then your PIN number (followed by the # sign).

    • You have 60 days to from your start date to send your Service Records to the Human Resources Department

    • Your Service Records will have your years of experience as well as your State Sick and State Personal Leave days balance
