Mrs. Kirkpatrick

Mrs. Kirkpatrick is thrilled to be a part of the Allen Tallenettes Drill Team as the Assistant Director, Silver Stars Dance Director, and AHS/LFC Dance Director.  She graduated from the University of North Texas where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance and minored in communications.  While at North Texas she studied modern, ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, and improvisation. She also performed in guest artist choreography, as well as choreographed dance pieces herself. While at UNT, Mrs. Kirkpatrick was also proud to have served as a member of Chi Omega Sorority, where she fundraised and participated with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Mrs. Kirkpatrick grew up in Tyler, Texas where she was a member of the Candy Crocker School of Dance for fifteen years and competed with the Candy Crocker Company and Elite dance teams. Her dance team competed in many competitions a year, one being a competition where they qualified four years in a row to perform in the televised Thanksgiving Dallas Cowboy Halftime show with the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and artists Sheryl Crow, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, and the Jonas Brothers.  Mrs. Kirkpatrick was also in the Tyler Lee Southern Belle Drill Team her junior year and a Drill Team Officer her senior year of high school. For the past nine years, she has served as an instructor and choreographer for Marching Auxiliaries of America. She continues to assist as a judge during contest season.

Mrs. Kirkpatrick is ready and looking forward to an amazing year with the Tallenettes, Silver Stars, and dance students. She strives to help students reach their goals, build their dance skills, and support and encourage them this school year. She is also looking forward to building relationships and working with the freshmen as their dance instructor.
