Accessing Student Grades
Your student's 9 week grade reports are available to view and/or print in Skyward Family Access. In Family Access choose Portfolio. Each student in grades three through 12 has live gradebook grades available to view at any time. In Family Access, choose your student from the drop down menu, then choose gradebook from the tab on the left. By expanding the class name, you will see the assignments and grades for the class. -
District Policy Regarding Absence Notes
If your child is absent from school due to illness, family emergency, religious holy day, or documented juvenile court proceeding, the district requires a parent/guardian to provide a hand-written excuse note or doctor’s note providing the reason for the absence within three days of your child’s return to school. These notes allow the school to code the absence “excused.” All absences will be coded as “unexcused” until the office receives a note. Excuse notes are very important since 10 or more unexcused absences within a six-month period are considered a violation of the compulsory attendance law in Texas. -
Reporting Allegations of Bullying
The goal of Allen ISD's Anti-Bullying Initiative is to ensure the safety of every student. Follow this link for more information. Should you have any concerns or questions, please contact your child's campus administrator. -
Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
Doors open at 7:30 am. Students dropped off before 7:30 a.m. are not supervised. Students arriving after 7:45 am will be considered tardy. Only drop off students in the unloading zone. Please pull all the way up to the front of the UNLOADING ZONE when dropping your child off. Parents, if it is necessary for you to come into the school, please park in the front parking lot and enter through the front doors.
