Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Tiffany Pi
Hello! My name is Tiffany Pi, and I am the Diagnostician at Rountree Elementary. A little bit about me: I was born, and grew up, in a small town called Orange, TX near the border of Texas and Louisiana in Southeast Texas. At 19 years old, I decided to pack up everything and move to Plano, TX in order to have better schooling and career opportunities. It was in college that I met my now husband, Blake, who also teaches a Resource 2 class at Chandler Elementary in Allen. We dated for 5 years before getting married in 2011, and have been married for almost 9 years now. We currently reside in Mckinney, TX. Although we do not have any children yet, we have 3 very spoiled cats (Faith, Waylon, and Patty), 1 dog (Stella), and 1 rabbit (Lilly). I have a huge passion for animals; particularly for rescuing animals who are having difficulty being adopted out from shelters because of health or behavioral factors. In my free time, I love to cook, read, shop, and travel.
I received a bachelors degree in special education from the University of North Texas, and a masters degree in special education from Texas Woman's University. I taught special education for 8 years, and also worked as a special education teaching assistant for 3 years. This will be my 3rd year as a Rountree Roadrunner.
I absolutely love what I do, and am so very excited to get to know all of the students and families at Rountree. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any comments, questions, or concerns.
