Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Tiffany Pi
Hello! My name is Tiffany Pi, and I teach Resource 2 Special Education at Rountree Elementary. A little bit about me: I was born, and grew up, in a small town called Orange, TX near the border of Texas and Louisiana in Southeast Texas. At 19 years old, I decided to pack up everything and move to Plano, TX in order to have better schooling and career opportunities. It was in college that I met my now husband, Blake, who also teaches a Resource 2 class at Chandler Elementary in Allen. We dated for 5 years before getting married in 2011, and have been married for almost 7 years now. We currently reside in Mckinney, TX. Although we do not have any children yet, we have 3 very spoiled cats (Faith, Waylon, and Patty), 1 dog (Stella), and 1 rabbit (Lilly). I have a huge passion for animals; particularly for rescuing animals who are having difficulty being adopted out from shelters because of health or behavioral factors. In my free time, I love to cook, read, shop, and travel.
I received a bachelors degree in special education from the University of North Texas, and a masters degree in special education from Texas Woman's University. I have been teaching self-contained special education for 8 years, and also worked as a self-contained special education teaching assistant for 3 years.
I absolutely love what I do, and am so very excited to get to know my students and families. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any comments, questions, or concerns.
