• How To Pay for a LOST/DAMAGED Book

    Bolin Elementary

    1. Overdue notices are sent automatically from the library system as a courtesy reminder of what students need to return to the library. These notices include the price of each book should you need to make a payment to replace a lost or damaged book.
    2. Please have students check their backpacks and classrooms. You may also want to double check your house, car, Kids Club, and daycare for the missing book.
    3. If the book cannot be located, verify your payment amount with the librarian if needed. You will be asked to enter the correct amount at this SchoolPay link to complete your transaction and to clear the student account. Please forward your SchoolPay receipt to julie.mcgary@allenisd.org to notify the librarian that your payment has been made.
    4. If a lost book that was paid for is found, you may return the book to the library, and a refund will be issued if the book is in good condition. Refunds will be issued during the same school year during which the book was lost. However, we will be unable to issue a refund after the last day of the school year during which the book was lost. You also have the option to keep the found book since a replacement has already been made.
