Welcome to our At-Home Makerspace page!

I will share links to Makerspace/STEAM challenges that you can complete at home with common household materials. You may need to be logged into the AISD Portal to view some of these links.

    1. Select a challenge from one of the links you'll find below the dotted line on this page.

    2. Follow the Allen ISD Engineering Design Process:

    Engineering Design Process

Step 1: Ask a question. "How can I build a boat to hold the most weight without sinking?"
    Step 2: Imagine. Brainstorm ideas.
Step 3: Plan. Draw and label your chosen plan.
    Steps 4-6: Create, Test, Improve.
