Allen ISD asked parents to make a commitment for their child(ren) to choose either in-person or at-home learning for the entire fall semester. The following information is up-to-date as of 4 p.m., July 29:
- At-Home Learning: 10,614 students (49.41%)
- In-Person Learning: 9,775 students (45.51%)
- No Selection Provided (will be placed in In-Person Learning): 925 students (4.31%)
- Not Returning or Moving: 166 students (0.77%)
All students will begin the first three weeks of school in the at-home learning format. Students who chose in-person learning will return to campus on September 2. Students will be expected to remain in their chosen option through at least a 9-week grading period in order to limit scheduling and staffing complexities. We understand that circumstances could change for our families throughout the semester, and adjustments will be examined on a case-by-case basis.
