I am so excited to be a part of the Norton family this year, teaching 5th grade!

This is my 9th year teaching at the wonderful Allen ISD! I spent 6 years at Rountree Elementary teaching Special Education, Kindergarten and 3rd grade Writing, Science and Social Studies. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with certification in Early Childhood-6th grade. I also just completed my Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Texas A & M International.

I grew up in a family of Dallas Firefighters and that is how I met my now best friend and husband Jonathan 9 years ago. In our spare time, we love being outdoors running or biking, going on vacations to the beach, spending time with family and friends and serving the local community with our church.

My priority this school year is to build strong relationships with my students and their families to ensure a successful school year!
