Business Information Management 1
Business Information Management 1: upon completion students will earn 1.0 High School Credit.
Students will implement personal and interpersonal skills to strengthen individual performance in the workplace and in
society and make a successful transition to the work-force and post-secondary education. Students apply technical
skills to address business applications of emerging technologies, create word-processing documents, develop a
spreadsheet, formulate a database, and make an electronic presentation using appropriate software.
In this course, we will use Microsoft Applications: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Access.
Students will use Microsoft Applications to make the following, (examples include) :
- Research Papers
- Marketing Brochures
- Promotional Flyers
- Cover Letters
- Job Applications
- PowerPoint Presentations
- Budgeting Spreadsheets
- Database Forms
- Database Reports
- Database Creation
- Database Entry
