• Doodle for Google

Each year Google hosts a contest for students to create the “doodle” that is displayed on their main website. The contest is nationwide and has great prizes (college scholarships and more!) for winners in each grade bracket.  This year Green Elementary students will have the opportunity to create a doodle during library time based on this year’s theme of inner strength. Ms. Harrop will then submit the doodles for in-person students that return the attached permission form by February 22, 2021. Please make sure you fill in ALL “parent/guardian” spaces on the form including the signature, the school information has already been filled out for you. We will also fill in the title and description at school during library time. This contest is optional and Ms. Harrop will only submit entries for the students that return the permission form by the due date.

If your student is an at-home learner or you would prefer to enter your child’s work yourself you may do so by following the instructions here: https://doodles.google.com/d4g/how-it-works/  All entries must be received by Google through mail or online by February 26, 2021.
