Allen ISD offers a half-day prekindergarten program and a full-day prekindergarten program for students who are 4 years old by Sept. 1st, live within the boundaries of Allen ISD, and must meet at least one of the state’s eligibility criteria.
The full-day program currently consists of two full-day monolingual prekindergarten classes and two full-day bilingual prekindergarten classes. All four full-day classes are located at Rountree Elementary. There are currently no available seats for the full-day monolingual prekindergarten program. A Prekindergarten Lottery Process was utilized for the full-day prekindergarten selection process. In order for a student to be entered into the Prekindergarten Lottery Process for the 2022-2023 school year, families had to complete the prekindergarten enrollment process and submit all required documentation by Thursday, May 26, 2022.
