  • Allen ISD offers a half-day prekindergarten program and a full-day prekindergarten program for students who are 4 years old by Sept. 1st, live within the boundaries of Allen ISD, and must meet at least one of the state’s eligibility criteria.

The full-day program currently consists of two full-day monolingual prekindergarten classes and two full-day bilingual prekindergarten classes.  All four full-day classes are located at Rountree Elementary.  There are currently no available seats for the full-day monolingual prekindergarten program.  A Prekindergarten Lottery Process was utilized for the full-day prekindergarten selection process.  In order for a student to be entered into the Prekindergarten Lottery Process for the 2022-2023 school year, families had to complete the prekindergarten enrollment process and submit all required documentation by Thursday, May 26, 2022.  Families received an email notification of selection or waitlist during the week of June 20th.
