January 19 - 20, District Championships
On Thursday January 19, and Friday January 20th, the Allen High School Swim and Dive Team competed in the District 5 - 6A Championships. The Girls Team took 1st place while the Boys Team took 3rd. Congratulations to all of the swimmers and divers on a successful district meet.
Picture Day
Picure day will be on Monday January 23 in the morning. As we get closer to the date we will give more specific information.
December 2 Lewisville Diving Invitational
On Friday, the Allen divers competed in the Lewisville Diving Invitational. This was their first 11 dive meet of the season, and they showed how all of the hard work they have put in this season paid off. Senior Logan Smith placed 1st for the men's team, and Junior Kristen Leigh placed 6th for the women's team. The divers continue to push the limits as they learn new dives in preparation for districts in January.
Friday November 18, Saturday November 19, Frisco Dual Meet Championships
On Friday and Saturday, November 18 and 19, the Allen Swim team competed in the Dual Meet Championships. New pool records were set, but the team ultimately fell to Wakeland High School. We continue to work hard as we make our way into December. The divers will be competing next at the Lewsiville Diving Invitational.
Saturday October 29, Ranger Relays
On Saturday October 29, Allen Swimmers competed in the Ranger Relays hosted by Jesuit College Prep School. It was a fun meet competing in nothing but relay events. The swimmers made progress towards their goals and came out in 5th place overall. We are excited about the JV spring meet in Plano this Wednesday as well as a diving invitational in Lewisville on Friday. Please come out to support our Allen Athletes.
October 25, 2022 Ursuline, Jesuit, Lovejoy
The Allen swim and dive team competed in multiple dual meets on Tuesday October 25th. The women’s team continue their winning streak with wins over both Ursuline Academy of Dallas and Lovejoy High School. The men’s team defeated Lovejoy High School but lost to Jesuit College Prep School by only 3 points. Over the next couple of weeks, the Allen teams will be competing in three additional meets. Please come support these student athletes.
October 13, McKinney High and McKinney Boyd
Allen Swimming and Diving competed in a meet yesterday against McKinney High School and McKinney Boyd High School. Both the Varsity and JV teams showed that the hard work that they put into practice pays off. Both the men and women’s teams on both Varsity and JV had wins over McKinney High School as well as McKinney Boyd High School. Our next meet will be at Home on October 25th. Diving will start at 3:15pm and the swim meet will start at 6:00pm. Come Support the Allen Eagles Swimming and diving team.
September 24, Garland Diving Invitational
Allen Divers participated in their first invitational of the season this past Saturday. It was a tough meet, but the divers performed well. Many of them successfully performed new dives they had never competed before. It is now time to buckle down and learn new dives for our meet on October 13. Come out and support both the swim and dive team.
September 13, Plano West & Plano Senior High.
Allen Swimming and Diving had their first meet on Tuesday September 13. The girls team started out strong with a win over both Plano Senior High and a win over Plano West. The boys team pulled out a win over Plano Senior High but fell to Plano West. All of the Allen Swimmers and Divers continue to push themselves to improve their skills. The Dive team has their next meet on September 23, 2022, at the Garland ISD Diving invitational. The next swim meet will be on October 13, 2022, at the Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium.
