National School Lunch Program Benefits

Allen ISD Free and Reduced Lunch is more than free lunch. For secondary students, one of the largest monetary benefits of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) includes providing fee waivers for SAT, ACT, and TSI testing as well as college application fee waivers. Additionally, some students who qualify can receive additional funding for state and federal services. It's More than a Meal!
Submitting your application for the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) can do more than just provide access to free and reduced-price meals. Families must meet the eligibility criteria for each program listed. Additional applications may still be needed to secure benefits.

School Funding
NSLP may provide additional funding for state and federal programs and services at your school.

College Resources
NSLP may provide reduced registration fees for AP, SAT, and/or ACT tests and discounted rates associated with college applications.

Technology Benefits
Eligible families could receive up to a $50 per month discount on their broadband bill and qualify for a discounted insurance fee of $15 on their device.
