• Hello Boon family! I am excited to introduce myself. My name is Summer Moring (Summer Heyden until I can officially change it) and I teach 6th grade math. I graduated in January of 2022 from WGU with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and I am blessed to be spending my first year teaching at Boon Elementary!

    I am married to my wonderful husband, Luke Moring, who brought me to Allen all the way from Seattle, Washington with delicious queso and Texas BBQ. We are huge nerds who love all things geeky and fun. We have five fur babies: 3 cats and 2 dogs and yes, they all get along!

    My goal for this year is to share my love of math with your students, to give them "AHA!" moments, and to empower them to succeed in their educational journey.
