IT'S TIME TO SHINE!I am so delighted to be a part of Evans Elementary this year. I'm ready to plug in with students, families, and staff to brighten our minds and hearts.
This school year will be my thirteenth year of teaching, and my first year to teach sixth grade. I am married to my personal technology wizard. I have a son who is attending Collin College studying sports & recreation. We have a dog named Paris Frances. She keeps us laughing a lot. I love words! I love how they're put together, learning from where they started, and all the ways they work together to allow us to communicate with each other.
Students in sixth grade English are introduced to the SpringBoard curriculum, which is used by Allen ISD from sixth grade through twelfth grade. We will read and write every day, in addition to having lively discussions and small group work.
