Welcome to First Grade!

My name is Jennifer Eakle (formerly Whitcomb), and I have the privilege of being your child's teacher!

I was born in Southern California, but moved to Allen for my Sophomore year of high school.  After graduating from UNT with my Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6 with ESL certification, I began my teaching career at Richardson ISD. This year will be my seventh year as an Evans Rider!

I have a nine-year-old Chihuahua named Lacey, who keeps me busy when I’m not at school. I enjoy baking, reading, gardening, shopping at Target and adventuring with my husband, Kimball.

I am honored to have the opportunity of sharing my passion for learning with your child this year. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have throughout the year.
