Curtis Middle School

Welcome! My name is George Lee and I am an assistant principal. Since we will be working together this year, I thought it would be beneficial to let you know more about me.  I have been an educator in Allen since 2008. I have worked at the elementary level and the middle school level. I grew up in San Antonio, Texas received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and my Master’s degrees from Dallas Baptist University. I have two sons Mason and Alex.  

I am thrilled to be a part of the Curtis family which includes an amazing group of students, families and staff members.  I believe that educating a child is a collaborative effort from all three groups above that include engaging lessons, innovation, compassion, enthusiasm and communication with everyone. As Cougars, we believe we have the privilege to use our diverse personalities and experiences to invest in lifelong learning and positive respectful relationships for growth of the whole learner.  With a “whatever it takes” attitude, we will can instill compassion, confidence and courage in ALL of our students. I also stand by our mission in fostering an inclusive, engaging environment to create successful, life-long learners. We use this mission as our guide in providing the best for our students. I look forward to working with you all this year.
