This is my eleventh year at Curtis and I love it! Before becoming your Librarian, I was an ESL
teacher, taught second grade and, even worked in the Kerr Elementary School library.

chief osceola renegade I was born and raised in Arcadia, Florida, and completed my undergraduate degree (in accounting!) at Florida State University (3-Time BCS National Champions! Go Seminoles!) in Tallahassee.  I have a Masters in Library Science from Texas Woman's University.

It was at college where I met my husband, Jamie. Needless to say, we are big Seminole fans!

We have two sons, both are Allen High grads. Matt is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas where he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Matt is a newly-wed and I am proud to say that we have added his wife, Jillian, to our family.

Sam is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas, and will be on a great adventure this fall as he begins work at Yellowstone National Park and later at Zion National Park.

We also have a yellow Labrador Retriever named Ruby and Australian Shepard mix named Susie. My son's dog, a Boston Terrier mix named Louis (like Louis Vuitton) also loves to visit with us...so I really have 2 1/2 dogs.
Allen has been our home since 1998.

My husband and I love going to sporting events. I LOVE the Dallas Mavericks...a true MFFL (Mavs Fan for Life)! We also have season tickets to the Dallas Rattlers Major League Lacrosse team. In additon, we go to many concerts across all music genres!

My family loves to travel. My husband surprised me  with a trip to Forks, Washington--home of Twilight. It was a fun trip. The town has fully embraced the books. Even though none of the movie was filmed there, locations around town have been designated "sites" from the book. There is even a tour bus that takes visitors on Twilight Tours!
Here are a few pictures from the trip!
