The Peer Assistance and Leadership (PALs) class trains students in the skills they need to help other students, both at the Lowery Freshman Center and the elementary schools, with academic and/or personal challenges.  PALs is a service-oriented organization focused on both school and community.  The students conduct mentoring programs throughout the year in order to foster meaningful relationships and promote citizenship.  This class is a full year course and is made up of 9th grade students who are selected by a panel that interviews all applicants.
