Hello!  Welcome to 6th grade at Vaughan Elementary!  I am so excited to meet you!  So who am I?  My name is Mrs. Cassetty and a little over a year ago I moved from North Carolina to Allen, Texas.  I must say that I love being at Vaughan and I love Texas! I am lucky to call it home!  I have been married for 24 years to my husband, Eric, and we have two children, Maddie and Carson.  Maddie is attending her first year of Law School in Nashville and Carson is a sophomore at the University of Arkansas and hopes to go to medical school.  I am a HUGE Tennessee Volunteer fan and a Razorback fan!!  College football is my favorite but I am slowly but surely becoming a Dallas Cowboys fan. I have taught (pre-k, 7th grade and 6th grade) for over 16 years and love sharing my passion for science with others. I love to travel, spend time with my family and read (especially on the beach).  But most of all, I love to learn and laugh and have a great time!
