    This is my 17th year here at Curtis, and here’s a little info. about me in case you're interested to know something about your child's teacher.  I graduated from the University of Texas in 1996 with a degree in History (fun stuff-huh?) and I received my Masters Degree in 2000.I moved to Allen in 2005.I have taught U.S. History for 16 years here at Curtis. I also have the privilege of coaching the Golf and Tennis teams here at Curtis. I am married to Michelle Shaw and have been for 35 years. We have 2 children, Jessika, who graduated from the University of North Texas in 2013 and is beginning her 9th year of teaching this fall and Justin who is an Athletic Trainer and they both work at Lowery. I also have 2 wonderful dogs named Sadie and Jack.  I am also a Grandpa for the first time to a beautiful granddaughter named Addison.
