The mission of Registered Nurses in Allen ISD is to provide professional nursing care and to promote a safe and healthy environment that contributes to academic success. My name is Kellie Koch and I am in my third year as the campus nurse at LFC. I am a born and raised Minnesotan and spent 14 years working at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital prior to our move to Texas.Working with the pediatric population and their families has always been my passion. My goal here at Lowery is to help the students maintain a level of health that allows them to stay in class and learn and to partner with their families in achieving this goal. All medication must be checked into the clinic. This includes over-the counter medication. Please access the medication form under clinic forms on the left side of this page. Medication not picked up at the end of the school year will be discarded. Family Access enables you to keep informed of your student's academic assignments and grades, as well as, health information. Take a moment at the beginning of this school year to verify your student's health information in Family Access. Should the information need to be updated, please notify me. It is very important the school nurse has current information regarding student's health every year your child is in school. Need a copy of your student's immunization record? Access and print a copy directly from Family Access. Check the Health Services link, under Departments, on the main Allen ISD webpage for Texas public school immunization requirements and other health information.
