If there is anything that can make that dynamic more exciting it is taking "the greatest class in world history"!!!We will survey over 5,200 years of the written record utilizing, yet not limiting ourselves to history, geography, sociology, psychology, philosophy, theology, geology, archeology and anthropology.
Although the journey to accomplish our goals will be exhausting, the goals themselves are simple:
100% of students gain full credit for the World History course
100% of students prepare for success on the STAAR Exam(many students should strive for an "A" for course and "Advanced" on STAAR)If you are interested in taking the first steps toward our goals, please purchase the few materials AHS will not provide for you. You will need a COMPOSITION book dedicated to this class and something to write with. Mr. Trulson begs you to purchase a package of pencils or pens (blue, black or red) to donate to the class which will be stocked in the classroom ‘cookie jars’ and available for use all year long. Finally, in an effort to keep students in the classroom and learning...WE NEED TISSUES...I will bring my box...please bring yours! Get your rest for we shall begin our journey on day one...See ya in G252!!!
