WELCOME to MUSIC
My name it Mrs. Till!
I am very glad to be back this year starting my 10th year as your music teacher and choir director! For those of you who are new to Bolin, let me say a welcome! I am so happy to have you here and look forward to getting to know you. Let me tell you a little about myself. I have been married for almost 42 years to my wonderful husband, Robert, who is the Pastor of Crossroads Cowboy Church in McKinney. He is also Vice President of Nashville Christian Songwriters, and organization that helps songwriters improve their skills as and make their music ready for a broaders audience. We live just northeast of McKinney on a small horse ranch. We have 5 horses, 2 dogs and 1 cat, which makes life very interesting! Our daughter, Christin, and her husband, Clint live and work in the DFW area with their almost 3 year old son, Harvey. Harvey is our little 'sunshine'! Our son, Justin, lives in McKinney and performs as a music artist in Texas and nearby states.
I am excited to get the year started as we broaden our knowledge of musical concepts so that we can enjoy, read and create music together. We will also explore how music has been experienced in our history as a nation and state and how it's expression has broadened in our present day. Music is such a rich part of cultures that are represented here in our community! Music is truly a universal language! Lets go on a great musical journey together!
